Josh Hartshorne
Biography
Josh Hartshorne has been handed his first crack at the professional game after catching the eye with National Conference League outfit Thornhill Trojans.
A relative latecomer to rugby league, Hartshorne dipped his toe into the oval-ball waters at school but didn’t play the game seriously until he joined the Army.
Whilst serving, Hartshorne, who hails from rugby league’s heartlands area, played for the Army signals regiment. After leaving the armed forces, Hartshorne first played for Thornhill’s second team before forcing his way into the first team picture at the Dewsbury based outfit. Before joining Cornwall RLFC, Hartshorne was part of Thornhill’s 2022 Betfred Challenge Cup campaign which saw the Trojans defeat the Royal Air Force 24-6 in round 1, before they bowed out to the Choughs’ fellow League 1 side Doncaster.
