All-action Welsh forward Charley Bodman joined the Choughs from Hunslet in June and made his debut in the club’s history-making first ever professional triumph against West Wales Raiders.
The 24-4 win was the perfect way for Bodman, against one of his former clubs, to begin his career with rugby league’s newest professional entity.
Newport born Bodman, 21, made 10 appearances in total for Cornwall in 2022 and immediately endeared himself to the Mem faithful for his all-action performances and flamboyant choice of hairstyle.
