Cameron Brown took the 2023 season by storm, topping the Choughs’ try scoring charts with 14 in all competitions.

Comfortable at playing in either the full-back or stand-off position, Brown’s individual brilliance helped his side to pick up five wins during 2023.

The club, with Brown playing a starring role, also made history by recording a number of firsts last season – home win, league double, record points scored in a game and then, in the final match of 2023, defeating a heartlands club in the shape of Rochdale Hornets.

Brown cut his formative rugby league teeth with Gold Coast based junior side Helensvale Hornets.

From there Brown joined the Burleigh Bears, who ply their trade in the Queensland Cup, the region’s top rugby league competition. He gained both senior and representative honours whilst with the Pizzey Park outfit.

The 24-year-old has dual English and Australian citizenship with his father born on these shores.
