Biography
It was something of a coup in Cornish rugby circles when the Choughs signed union forward Brad Howe last July.
The 27-year-old had been training with the Choughs and after impressing then head coach Neil Kelly, agreed terms to play the 13-player code.
Born in Truro, Howe has most recently played rugby union for Redruth, who compete in National League Division Two South – the English pyramid’s fourth tier.
A number eight by trade in the union ranks, Howe has also spent time with Championship outfit the Cornish Pirates.
In 2019, Howe was part of the Cornwall county rugby union side which lifted the Bill Beaumont Cup at Twickenham. He made one appearance for Cornwall in last year’s competition – a 78-12 win over Hampshire at the Recreation Ground, Redruth.
