Cornwall RLFC are delighted to announce that the Duchy’s very own Whirlwind Sports have joined forces with the club as our official retail partner. 

The partnership between an iconic Cornish sporting brand and the Duchy’s newest professional sporting entity reaffirms Cornwall RLFC’s mission statement of Kernow Kynsa – putting ‘Cornwall first’ to partner with local business and to continue the club’s growth. 

Whirlwind Sports will be selling official Cornwall RLFC apparel both online and in their four shops across the Duchy which are situated in Truro, Camborne, Helston and Penzance. 

Since 1980, Whirlwind Sports has been providing sports clothing, equipment brands and footwear from around the globe. 

The family-run company have always been synonymous with Cornish rugby throughout their existence, providing for players and supporters here in the heart of the Duchy and further afar too.

“We are thrilled to be working with Whirlwind Sports as the official online and in-store retailer for the club,” said Cornwall RLFC’s commercial director Rob Butland. 

“Whirlwind have a long-standing history of supporting Cornish rugby league and it is befitting that they will continue to be a part of the next chapter of this great sport’s journey in Cornwall, and of Cornwall’s journey in the wider game. 

“We said from the start that this club is about Kernow Kynsa (Cornwall first) and this partnership is further proof of our intent to work with local businesses wherever possible for the good of Cornwall, and for the good of the club.”
