Adam Rusling’s first half score in the away Betfred League 1 clash has won Cornwall RLFC’s Try of the Month award for July.

Of the votes cast, Rusling’s effort, after a powerful run from Jack Ray, polled almost half (49 per cent).

Second place went to Harry Aaronson for his 85-metre intercept score against Hunslet on July 2.

In the same match, Tom Ashton scored his first try for Cornwall with a barnstorming run and subsequent touch down. This score came third.
