Purcell Wins June Try of the Month Award

For a second consecutive month, Joe Purcell has picked up Cornwall RLFC’s Try of the Month award.
After his try in the away clash at Swinton claimed May’s honours, the Widnes born scum-half’s score against West Wales Raiders was the June winner.
After a poll on the Choughs’ official Twitter handle, Purcell’s brilliant individual effort claimed 47 per cent of votes cast.
Aaron Jones-Bishop’s opportunist try against Keighley Cougars came second with 26 per cent while Harry Aaronson’s arobatic dot down against West Wales Raiders (21 per cent) came third.
