Two Betfred League 1 points and the Celtic Shield are up for grabs tomorrow at the Memorial Ground when Cornwall RLFC host North Wales Crusaders – 3.00pm.

The Crusaders will forever be marked in the Choughs’ history as it was they who provided the Duchy outfits first ever opposition in Colwyn Bay on Saturday, April 2.

Gav Rodden, Rob Massam and Reece Briers all scored twice as North Wales defeated Cornwall 62-22 in the spring sunshine. However, Cornwall displayed signs of promise and managed four touchdowns.

Matty Turton made history by becoming the first Cornwall player to score a try in the club’s first ever game against North Wales Crusaders. His 34th minute was backed up by second half scores from Harry Aaronson, Liam Whitton and Sam Snell.
