Next Home Match – West Wales Raiders

May 10, 2022

Pack Penryn on Sunday as the Choughs take on West Wales – Izzy Ninnis

Cornwall RLFC welcome West Wales Raiders to the Memorial Ground – 3.00pm.

For this Betfred League 1 round eight clash, both sides will be searching for their first win of 2022. Draws are few and far between in rugby league meaning that on Sunday in Penryn, one of the sides’ ‘O’ looks set to go.

In Cornwall’s previous two matches at the Mem, Neil Kelly’s side have received tremendous backing from home supporters and the team know it will be no different against the Raiders.

Tickets for the match are available now with all of Cornwall behind the Choughs who are hoping to make it third time lucky in the Duchy and record a historic first ever win.

For Ashley Bateman and his Raiders side, a victory will host the Llanelli-based outfit off the foot of the League 1 table and above Cornwall.

With the stakes huge for both sides, a titanic struggle is set to ensue between rugby league’s newest professional side in Cornwall and the Raiders, who themselves have been flying the flag for the sport’s development in Wales for a number of years.

Tickets for this not-to-be-missed match are on sale now and can be obtained by clicking here
