It’s just six days until Cornwall RLFC are back on home soil with a Betfred League 1 round six clash against Rochdale Hornets.

The Memorial Ground clash takes place on Sunday, May 1 (1.00pm kick-off) with Neil Kelly’s Choughs looking to continue their upward trajectory against the men from Spotland.

With Cornwall competing in rugby league’s professional structure for the very first time, this will be the first time that the club have faced off against the Hornets.

Last time out in the Duchy, Cornwall were defeated by Midlands Hurricanes in front of a bumper crowd of 1,473 with seats in the main grandstand at the Mem selling out well in advance of the fixture.

Backed by a passionate and vocal home support, Kelly’s troops found the going tough but an improved second half showing saw the side score three times, much to the delight of those cheering on the Choughs.

For the visit of Rochdale, who have former Man of Steel Rangi Chase and New Zealand powerhouse Fui Fui Moi Moi in their ranks, tickets are on sale now and can be purchased below
