Cornwall RLFC’s final home game of the season against Rochdale Hornets will be dedicated to both former and currently serving military personnel.

The Duchy has a proud military history with significant naval bases at RNAS Culdrose (Helston) and HMS Raleigh (Torpoint) along with RAF St Mawgan.

For the game on Sunday, August 27 (1.00pm), the matchball is being sponsored by a group of Cornwall RLFC supporters who have expressed a desire to dedicate this generous gesture to all veterans and serving military personnel that wish to attend the game.

And in a show of appreciation from the club, we have agreed to offer all former and currently serving personnel (including civil servants) free entry to the game.

This offer is valid on all advance tickets and matchday sales too. If tickets are purchased in advance, then proof of past or current service will be required to be shown on entry. The same applies for entry on the gate too. 

To secure tickets in advance, head to the ticketing section of our official website. Click on the Rochdale match, select your category of tickets and quantity. Then to activate the discount, enter the code MILITARY

The club can also confirm that the Penryn Branch of the Royal British Legion will be conducting a bucket collection at the Memorial Ground before, during and after the match with Rochdale.
