Matchday Guide – London Skolars

June 3, 2022

Another big crowd is expected at the Mem on Saturday – Izzy Ninnis Photography

Cornwall RLFC welcome London Skolars to the Memorial Ground – 3.00pm.

This Betfred League 1 round 10 clash will see Neil Kelly’s Choughs once again searching for a maiden win in the club’s first ever professional season.

In Cornwall’s previous three matches at the Mem, Neil Kelly’s side have received tremendous backing from home supporters and the team know it will be no different against the Skolars.

Tickets for the match are available now with all of Cornwall behind the Choughs as we establish ourselves as professional rugby league’s newest entity.

For Joe Mbu and his London side, a victory would give the capital outfit a huge momentum boost and two consecutive triumphs also. Last time out, the Skolars defeated Oldham Roughyeds 38-16 to record their first win of what has been a transitional campaign to date.

With the stakes huge for both sides, a titanic struggle is set to ensue between rugby league’s newest side in Cornwall and another developmental outfit in the Skolars, who have been flying the non-heartland flag in the professional ranks since 2003.

Tickets for this not-to-be-missed match are on sale now and can be obtained by clicking here
