London Skolars – The Last Time

The home Betfred League 1 campaign for Cornwall begins tomorrow as London Skolars travel to from west from the capital.
Joe Mbu’s side have already played three league games in 2023 whilst also bowing out of the Betfred Challenge Cup at Rochdale.
Match Report
Cornwall made a first ever trip to the New River Stadium in July 2022 to face Skolars after a home loss to eventual play-off winners Swinton Lions.
And after 34 minutes in sweltering conditions, the Choughs were 6-0 but a quick-fire double before the break saw London lead 12-6 at the turnaround.
After half-time and led by star full-back Jared Bassett, London scored 34 unanswered points to prevail 46-6.
