Lloyd Suffers Elbow Injury

Cornwall RLFC can provide an injury update on our hooker Jake Lloyd who injured his elbow in yesterday’s defeat to West Wales Raiders.
One of the Choughs’ outstanding performers in 2022 so far, the 24-year-old went down clutching his arm eight minutes before half-time.
After a spell of treatment for a suspected dislocated elbow by club doctor John Garman and physiotherapist Sam Wicketts, Lloyd made his way off the Memorial Ground pitch in real discomfort.
An x-ray confirmed no break or fracture but given the severity of his injury, Lloyd will see an orthopedic specialist for further assessment.
