Disciplinary: Match Review Panel
August 29, 2024
Winger George Mitchell has been charged with a Grade B offence of dangerous contact after Sunday’s Betfred League 1 match against Oldham.
However, the Penryn local has been fined £40 and avoided a suspension meaning he is available for selection as Cornwall travel to North Wales Crusaders on Sunday.
In further good news for the Choughs, both Matt Ross and Luke Collins’ suspension periods have ended after they were also charged by the Match Review Panel.
Ross received a two-game ban for a Grade C dangerous contact charge against Rochdale Hornets on August 4. The Welsh international then sat out the games against Midlands Hurricanes and Oldham.
For Collins, he was also absent from the Roughyeds clash after he was charged with a Grad B late hit offence during the 33-27 loss to Hunslet on August 10.
