Cornwall RLFC have secured prop Ewan Badham on a two-week loan from divisional rivals Rochdale Hornets.

Badham joins his twin brother Ieuan at the Memorial Ground after his signing was announced by the club last week.

Both players spent time at the now defunct West Wales Raiders last year and were left without a club after their demise. The Welsh duo were, until 2021, on the books of Super League giants Hull FC.

Badham linked up with Gary Thornton’s Hornets in December 2022, but has found game time limited.

The paperwork for Badham’s loan signing has been submitted in time for this weekend’s Betfred League 1 clash away to Dewsbury Rams.

Cornwall head coach Mike Abbott will name his squad for the trip to the Flair Stadium at 12.00pm today (Friday).
