February 22, 2023
Cornwall RLFC are delighted to announce a partnership with Cornwall Sports Media for the 2023 Betfred League 1 season.
The arrangement will see Cornwall Sports Media (CSM) provide photographic services for the club which includes all home matches, sponsor obligations, media days and training sessions.
Images provided by CSM will be used on all the club’s digital platforms and also distributed for use by national outlets, specific rugby league publications and local media too.
Cornwall Sports Media were founded in 2022 and boast a team of experienced photographers, journalists and writers that cover all aspects of sport here in the Duchy.
Cornwall RLFC are the latest prominent sporting entity in the South West to partner with CSM, following in the footsteps of the Duchy’s best supported football team Falmouth Town and English Football League 1 title chasers Plymouth Argyle.
Commenting on yet another ground-breaking partnership for rugby of either code in Cornwall, the club’s head of media and communications Gareth Davies, said: “We are very proud of our media output across all digital platforms which has won universal praise from the rugby league community since the club was incepted.
“An integral part of this is images that capture the journey we are embarking on which last season included our first ever win and the Rugby League World Cup trophies coming to the Duchy.
“Partnering with a professional sports media agency will further enhance the images we have access to for building the profile of the club here in Cornwall and to a wider audience also. This has already been demonstrated with CSM providing all of our player head shots at our recently held media evening.
“I look forward to working with CSM during our second professional season.”Colin Bradbury, director of Cornwall Sports Media, added: “The arrival of rugby league in Cornwall last season was a breath of fresh air and a very welcome addition to the Duchy’s sporting landscape.
“We’ve followed the Choughs’ progress closely and are delighted to be working with the club this season to provide photographs that will complement their outstanding media and communications output. Starting this Saturday with the history-making Betfred Challenge Cup round two tie in Penryn.“
