Cornwall RLFC welcomed North Wales Crusaders to the Memorial Ground for the Choughs’ penultimate home match in Betfred League 1 for 2022.

The Crusaders strengthened their grip on second place in the standings with a powerful first showing. They led 24-6 owing to four converted tries – Josh Hartshorne’s score, foaled by Adam Rusling accounted for Cornwall’s endeavours in the opening 40 minutes.

After the turnaround, Cornwall performed valiantly with North Wales only adding 12 further points.

The hosts themselves also scored another converted try through Nathan Conroy and once again Rusling foaled.
